Proofreading

To proofread: to read through something that is written or printed in order to correct any mistakes in it.

(Longman Dictionary)

Manotsuki's corrections include checking syntax, grammar, and spelling. If necessary, it also involves light rewriting to make the text as smooth and coherent as possible. Proofreading includes both the substance of a text (coherence, historical veracity...) and its form (grammar, spelling, typography, etc).

The 2 steps
